I couldn't do it. we have cleaners who come once every 3 weeks. And fiance can still do laundry. That's a great task to hand off to the nonbirthing parent. The only big task I focus on each day is doing the dishes and cleaning the kitchen. And I save meal prep for the weekends.
Period.
@Anya I get this girl but i’d do more like once a week cause sheesh
@Alysse I feel guilty if i’m not giving my full undivided attention 24/7..lol
Idk either my kid is 4 months Iv cleaned like sweep and mop and wipe down maybe 3 times I’m home all day and I’m so tired of everything my baby also refuses to sit by himself so it makes it hard
I try to break it up into chunks and place my LO (5mo) into her bounce seat to let her watch and will narrate what I’m doing ( washing dishes, vacuuming, etc ). I try to do at least one task per wake window. A little each day adds up. We also do full contact naps during the day and I allow myself this time to rest and relax to recharge for the next week window. I also try to do a lot as I go and follow the mindset of don’t put down put it away, which helps to keep things tidy. It’s not always possible and some days. I don’t do anything, but when I do have the energy, I try to do at least one small thing and that usually helps me. I hope this helps you! You’re doing a great job!!
