Rice and daal/lentils, Mac n cheese, mashed potatoes (sweet or white), veg and sausages, quinoa and bulgar wheat with veggies, veg fritters, lasagne, home made chips, blended fruit with chia seeds pudding, butter bread pan seared and cheese, pasta, spaghetti, broccoli tots, egg rolls, baby sushi, roti/naan and daal/chicken, plantains, courgette and carrots soup. I basically give whatever I eat at lunch made in a baby friendly way.
It’s taken me a while to get used to doing lunch as I don’t usually eat it - I always do something for my son but it has been hard to think of things! He loves sandwiches - ham, cheddar, herby soft cheese, egg mayonnaise are favourites. I also do omelettes, cauliflower cheese, quesadillas. The book what mummy makes has lots of ideas which I’ve found really helpful.
Cheese and pesto quesadilla, broccoli and cream cheese pasta, soup, beans on toast, sandwich, can even do weetabix or porridge if you dont give that for breakfast, with mashed banana and peanut butter to bulk it up and give with fruit on side
