Omg this is me! I'm 30+5 and was told last week that baby will be coming early as measuring small. How early we don't know yet as it'll depend how she's doing week by week. My partners going in for surgery on Saturday and will out of action for 2 weeks. We're in the middle of buying another house and getting the house were living in ready to go up for sale 🤦♀️ So everything is everywhere! We've no storage for all the baby stuff so some is at my parents and some at my in-laws, and we've still got loads to get. Plus I'm trying to sort things for my baby shower (that may not end up having if she comes more than 3 weeks early) and planning our wedding 🙈 Poor baby won't even have a nursery until we move house, but not stressing over that for now. Just keep telling yourself that everything will come together and things will work out OK 👍🏻 Aslong as baby arrives and all is OK with you both then everything else can be sorted in time - that's what I have to keep telling myself 🤣
@Jenny oh my gosh, I’m getting married in December so I’ve been planning that as well. Although I don’t know how you are juggling moving on top of everything else. I hope your partners surgery and the move goes well.
Our wedding is June 2026, but we've literally only booked the venue so have a million and one things to sort and things get booked up so far in advance now so we need to pull our fingers out! My main focus and priority is keeping this baby growing at the moment though so trying not to let everything overwhelm me, but as you know, it's not that easy 🙈 Good luck with everything xx
It’s so hard when managing lots of other things at once too - definitely relate to this… We planned our wedding within 3 months and had it when I was 15 weeks. I also moved house.. currently going through the process of selling my flat which is very stressful with solicitor paperwork etc We have half a nursery ready but the other half is my office/desk - everything is chaotic right now and I think it’s even harder to deal with in the 3rd trimester as physically things feel heavier and it’s more tiring to sort and move stuff etc
With the nursery - if the baby is sleeping in your room I really wouldn’t worry. I know that’s easy to say but other than a place of storage we barley used for first 4 months so with my first x
