If your mans doesn’t do this he’s a FAKE man or a woman 😂😂😂OBVIOUSLY!!!! Mine does not build things in our yard from scratch….so I guess he’s a fake man or a women, I’m still investigating
Mine can do anything but sometimes rather not. Plus trying to wait for his timing too is not always ideal for me.
@S. annalese Lol I get your sarcasm. My husband cooks and cleans and I build more things than him but sometimes I just wish he would/could build me something from scratch 😆
@Katie you lucky duckling lol
@Ema my man hates putting anything together so those are my tasks lol. But my man does cook and clean but everything else is like pulling teeth 😩
We have an inside joke that if he can’t fix it it’s not broken 😅
Yalll that are saying “Not really”, what does your man do then??
I don't judge whether a man is real or not by what he constructs in the yard lol. I believe almost anyone is capable of doing these things, if I want something done I'll do it myself if I want to. If my husband doesn't want to I certainly wouldn't be questioning his masculinity.
My husband is an amazing partner and father. He could do anything he put his mind to if he wanted to, he is very handy around the house. But I wouldn't think of him as less of a man if he wasn't or question his testosterone levels. Just seems very shallow to me. I am a good cook but if I heard my husband say men with women who are good cooks are the real winners we'd be having some serious conversations.
My husband is very manly in my opinion. But he isn't handy. Neither was his father. They came from the type of family where if you need something done you call a professional. My dad is handy. My husband wants to be handy so he says he'll do things and then gets huffy when I call my dad over because he hasn't done them for 6 months 🫠
@Rachel this is the worse. My husband is always “about to do it” as soon as I say I’ll ask someone else
@Rachel butttt my whole point is just that it’s way nicer when you have a man that can do it. We as women and moms already have a ton of ish to do
My husband has an idea and 3 days later it’s built. Honestly don’t know where he gets the energy but I love it. He just cracks on with everything 😃
There's only one thing around this house that my husband can't do that I can and that's breastfeeding 😂 so I'm not sure why you have a ton of stuff to do but your idea of a real man isn't one who has a fair share of chores and childcare but one who fucks off to the yard and constructs stuff. You asked for understanding of the "not really" answers, I'm just explaining why I don't think that's what makes a real man.

@Kathryn BLESSED
@Rachel well my man does do all the things you just listed pretty much. I’m just saying the real winners have hubby’s that can build stuff honey
Honestly I’m in awe of my husband sometimes. He’s the type of man that can do anything. He works with computers but I want a bar built for our wedding? ✅ I want cool bookcase for our house? ✅ Plumbings broken? Fixed ✅ Car broken? Fixed ✅ I need something sewing? He’s got the needle and thread out ✅ Like he’s always like “Gimme 2 minutes to research and I’ll have to done” and he does it. A jack of all trades one might say and I LOVE it. It’s so sexy.
So you like a man that's handy, that's fine. Doesn't mean the ones building stuff in the yard are the only real men! I hope you're just having a bit of a moan in here about your husband and aren't accusing him of not being a man because he hasn't constructed you a catapult or whatever it is he's supposed to be building lol🤔
@Emilie blessed is an understatement
I definitely think I’m lucky bc my husband is very talented at building things and I love to see him do so but there are times that I want to buy something and I show him the picture and he’s like nope I can build it better I just gotta get this this and this and it costs twice as much as just ordering what I had picked out 🤣
I rather pay a handy man than have my husband build anything 😂 but he cooks, cleans, is a bomb daddy so I consider myself pretty lucky
My husband isn’t handy he’d rather pay to have even a portrait hung 🫠he can’t be bothered lol but I definitely think that having a handy husband around is a plus as it saves money and can be viewed an an attractive characteristic for some 💕💕a man who is able to excel in that manner ehh my hubs excels in various other ways though so it’s all good 🥰
My man does all DIY, shopping and cooking but only cuz I'm disabled and can't do it myself. I think I'm the real winner cuz he's been by my side when I've been so down with my illness, he's at every appointment with me, lifts me up when I can't carry myself, cleans when I can't & helps me care for my child when my disability stops me too. He hates DIY but does it, he hates cooking & cleaning but does it cuz he loves me. 🥰
I said "I guess so," but honestly it doesn't matter so much to me if he can build (he can kinda, but he's not terribly experienced at it). What's more important to me is that he cooks, cleans, takes care of himself and his family, is a genuine, honest, and good human being, a terrific father, a hard worker, funny, nerdy like me, and genuinely motivated to do good in the world. I read so many posts about deadbeat dads idrgaf if he can build a swing set or not. 😅
@Misha YESSS you’re the real winner! Blessed mama!
@Melissa tbh this is the most real post 🤣 there’s so many more things that’s more important
Once we buy a home he’s gonna build a treehouse I think I want to use that to learn how to do stuff like that too cuz I have so many diy projects saved on Pinterest that I want to do myself
Idk.. a man can have those abilities and be a piece of sh***. Is he a real man then? My husband and I are both pretty handy. I think we both impress each other.
I said not really cuz I’m a nonbinary lesbian and so I don’t need a man to do things around the house… i don’t like gender stereotypes.., women can build things from scratch and it’s fucking sexy…and I neither man or woman am capable of building things… without a man

Eternally grateful for my handy man 👏
I’m blessed with my man 🥰 can fix anything, can build anything, works hard to support us so I can stay home, and is a family man who knows how to give me breaks and still go for dates 🤤
