My daughter does this too. Her vocabulary is very small, but I'm not worrying just yet. Some kids take longer. I know I've seen some people post of huge vocabularies, but I wonder how much is words said once, or things they just know their kiddo means. Does you little understand most of what you tell them? Even if it takes a few times repeating? My daughter seems to, so that's another reason I'm not so stressed over her vocabulary just yet. Hopefully someone else will post. But I wanted you to know I'm in the same or similar situation.

I believe that's a very normal way of communicating for kids who don't use words yet..pointing and leading you to things. My son talks a lot, but sometimes he still hand leads or pulls us to things he wants. As long as he understands what you're saying too, it's okay. He'd speak when he's ready.

My daughter can talk a little and still grabs my hand and drags me to things like she wants me to go with her to chose a book or a snack etc I think it’s normal
