Temper Tantrums

My LO has episodes of screaming ferociously and clenching his fists. Sometimes it’s in context, in that he’s getting tired or hungry. Often, I can’t find the source of his frustrations. The scream is very loud and shrill. Get that temper tantrums are par for the course in toddlers, but is he still a bit young to be showing this behaviour? (He’s 10 months). I want to know if any other babies do this, and any suggestions on how I can support him? I particularly notice it at baby groups, I never see other babies his age scream like that.

Try baby sign language, I've taught mine just milk but it can help them express that one. My LO also shows signs of temper lol it is quite cute. Esp when his older brother takes his toys. 😆

I just came on here to ask exactly this! My 10 month old has started having tantrums at everything! If he’s hungry, if you try and change his nappy, if he gets stuck or something is in his way or doesn’t want to go in the car seat etc and has even started throwing himself backward if I pick him up when he doesn’t want to and I have to catch him to stop him banging his head! Definitely earlier than i remember this happening in my daughter but she wasn’t as active so maybe her frustrations came later? Xx

My LO is an absolute diva 🙃🙃 sometimes I have absolutely no idea what the problem is and just have to let her ride it out because my intervention just makes it worse apparently 🤦‍♀️

Yes, real temper tantrums exactly how u described. I sometimes worry if he has anger issues 🫣
