I prefer regular dates nights. Valentines is always crowded and service is not as good usually.

When we tried before having kids, two years in a row we ended up in hospital (completely unrelated things, just happened on valentines day) so not a big fan. We do things at other times.

I love the holiday but find it obnoxious due to pricing and how crowded everything is- we usually celebrate a few days after. šŸ’—

We've had a super busy week and hubby is tired so I suggested we do something at home. So we'll be making some pizzas together, designing some dipped strawberries, eating some other desserts and watching a show/movie with our little one lol if we go out on a date we prefer weekdays so it's not crowded or overstimulated, also we bring our baby everywhere lol so crowded places suck for all of us.

Everyday is like valentineā€™s for me and my partner we always give little gifts and words of affirmation even with a baby. He always says we donā€™t need 1 day a year to prove we love eachother šŸ„°we of course wish eachother a happy valentines but donā€™t make a huge fuss out of it we have made a fuss over our daughter this year

Our version of celebrating is a little gift and remembering how much we love each other.

We do celebrate, but usually just spend the evening together at home and cook a nice meal together ā€“ watch a film, and then head to bed šŸ‘€ this year weā€™re having a nice steak dinner and then we will just chill together, and on Sunday we have plans to go out in the evening. We go on a couple of date nights here and there when we can, and donā€™t need to make a big deal out of Valentineā€™s Day but itā€™s still nice to make a fuss of each other

Weā€™ve done a card thatā€™s it, we usually have a takeaway on the night for a Saturday but weā€™ve agreed we will go out for a pub meal instead alone at dinner. Rather do it late than on the day. But I wouldnā€™t say we really celebrate it, weā€™ve just not had the money or time for us so weā€™re making a point of it tomorrow

We donā€™t celebrate because itā€™s not part of our religion. But he makes me feel special from time to time and I do the same for him.

He always pretends like he didnā€™t know it was Valentineā€™s Day and then we get Valentineā€™s Day deliveries to our house all day. Flowers, balloons, etc.

The last time we celebrated it was 6 years ago & it was because we won a 3 course meal at a pub down the road from us.

Always is an extra night to add to our dates night. We like to celebrated all kinds of occasions in general šŸ˜‚šŸŽ‰

We donā€™t for us itā€™s mostly for the kids lol we do pink or heart shaped foods to make it a little special. We donā€™t do gifts or anything but sometimes we hehe half price candy the day after šŸ˜‚

Itā€™s just our February date night šŸ’šŸ»ā€ā™€ļø we have a date night every month of the year for 19yrs, the Feb one just happens to fall on Vday to make it ā€œextra specialā€. Just like our May date falls on our anniversary/Mothers Day (both separate), Sep date for his bday, Oct for my bday, etcā€¦ Iā€™ll be out on Vday for sure, I donā€™t care about and donā€™t want the gifts.

We don't celebrate not because I don't want to but his lack of effort
