We started doing bouncy castle-type birthday parties from 3 years old and they've been a great way to meet local parents while the kiddies are having fun.
My LB has just been invited to a child’s birthday party from nursery and it’s a lovely idea! Hell be attending as I think it’ll be nice for him to see them outside of nursery and it’s a way for parents to actually meet each other rather than just drop offs and pick ups!
Maybe your little one having them around at his special occasion would be a positive association for him. Could help him form friendships a little more in nursery if he’s seen them at his party. (I’m in no way an expert, speaking from a teacher’s perspective) x
We did a bouncy castle for my LG 2nd birthday only invited a few and honestly it was so lovely! She's just been invited to someone's birthday at nursery and I'm so excited for her 🤣 Even if they don't communicate in the "normal" way I'm sure they'll all have a lovely time playing x
My son went to a party recently for a child in his preschool. I didn't know her parents or many of the others. It's a nice way to meet the parents
My son is 4 in April I don't know any of the others in nursery the nursery workers she put a list together for me with him saying who he plays with the most so we can decide how many to invite on the day. My son gave us 5 to start with they helped him do the rest. I also got a list so I don't spell the names wrong x
Thank you so much everyone 🤍🤍🤍🤍
Yes it’s fine to invite them. Especially that young I don’t think they will mind. I would be mindful to include what they may need to pay for.
