I feel like my baby is shy

At baby classes I feel like there’s quite a big difference between my LO and other babies her age (7m). She is very chilled and quiet, like she sits there just taking it all in, other babies are more vocal, screeching and constantly rolling about and trying to play etc, my girl is more vocal at home and wants to play/roll but at classes it’s like she gets overwhelmed or shy around others. I take her to lots of places and always have so she’s used to being around others. Has anyone else noticed this?

Yeah my little one is like this, sometimes he warms up and babbles but he gets overwhelmed in busy sensory over load places quite easily

My girl is the same! She is slightly younger than lots of the babies at some of the groups but she just likes to watch them. I don’t think it really means anything some are just a bit more overwhelmed. We go to an art class now where there is only 4 babies including mine and she is a lot more vocal and interacts a lot more. We have been attending baby sensory since she was 7 weeks but she is still really quiet and just watches when we are there but it is a busy class.

Same, she really likes to watch other people and children! Once she's taken it all in she's happy to babble a bit.

My son is the same. We had a family wedding when he was 4 months old & Christmas dinner when he was 6 months old & both he cried so much which was unlike him
