Doctors

Does anyone else's toddler act like there being f*cking tortured as soon as the doctor even looks at them? Honestly no idea what I'm meant to do, had to pin him down with him screaming like a maniac just to have a check up. His only ever been seen by a doctor a few times and every time I say I'm never going again because it's a waste of time. Doesn't help that when I put him back in his pushchair he calms down an then his little sister starts screaming. Honestly having kids is like banging your head against the wall sometimes.

Yeah, my little boy will just scream as soon as he walks in the doctors room! It’s becoming a bit embarrassing the older he’s getting but not sure what to do either!

@Lauren 😩I hope as he gets older he gets over it. The doctor said to me has he had a bad experience with doctors before 😫 I was like literally nothing! He just doesn't like being messed with. I think it doesn't help that the doctors are all exactly child friendly, not that I actually think that would help but never know. I came out of that appointment with a banging headache, wasn't worth going at all

Yes, he is getting a little better now though, he starts no soon as he pulls on the car park, and tries to escape out of the building as we wait to go in to see the doctor, he has managed to kick them before it can be embarrassing, I've took toys with us and he has literally thrown them across the doctors room, I have to take someone with me to help manage him

My daughter is the same, doc, hospital, dentist. Have you tried sitting down and watching Peppa. They do a dentist episode and doctors etc it really helped she still hates it but it’s a load better x

@Siobhan I thought we had watched all the pegga pigs but I don't remember those ones so I'll have to find them out an try them definitely!
