Finger food for meal times

My LG usually has a pouch / blended meal for her evening meal. The last few days she’s becoming quite frustrated and batting the spoon away when I try to feed her, I think she’s ready to feed herself. At lunch time I do usually give her toast or something she can feed herself with and she seems to be a lot calmer then. What type of things would you give for the evening meal, I’m struggling for inspiration and can’t just let her live off toast 😂 (although that’s mainly what I’ve lived off since she was born. 🙃🫠) I’ve tried carrots and cucumber stick but she wasn’t interested, I will try them again another day though. Any suggestions welcome, thank you!

I make various different veg with mashed potatoe and or sweet potatoe. I either then give her this which she can then eat with a spoon or her hands or I make them into crochete shapes and bake so they're firm (breadcrums help with this too). I've made omollete and just cut it into strips.

We are currently obsessed with wee Willy winkie sausages 😂 & we also do Fish fingers (batter off) , & turkey cut in to strips

We had falafel tonight - she loved it.

What do you eat ? We basically let our baby feed herself with anything we eat from spag bol/ chilli yes it's messy but baby eats more enjoys it more and it helps develop her fine motor skills cx

He has whatever we have, just no salt added when cooking and if we want it, it's added to our plates afterwards. Toad in the hole and roast dinners are the favourites but he had pie, sweet potato and courgette last night, a chicken curry the night before and sausage casserole the evening before. If we're having something too high in salt, I've batch made some fish cakes, pastry parcels and pinwheels so these can be given instead. I recommend joining the Facebook page "weaning the blw way" as they have loads of ideas and provide advice on how to serve food reducing the choking risk.
