Sterilisation

I just wanted to add I use disinfectant wipes before putting parts back together and the wipes live next to the steriliser

Depends. I clean everything in the kitchen as frequently as possible. If it’s right after I cleaned and disinfected, I’d use it. If I haven’t cleaned I’d wash and sterilize again. Also wash my hands thoroughly before handling parts

Wash and sterilise before my baby was not crawling. Now he crawls everywhere, practically eats from the floor so I just sterilise it.

Depends on how old is your baby, I'm more cautious with a newborn, than with an older baby that put things in his mouth all the time and already vaccinated. Also if you keep your kitchen counter clean, with no pets climbing on top it's fine
