Anyone else just feeling let down

This is a little rant about the midwife service I’ve received I know they’re understaffed and things but I just feel let down and need to share. So I expressed my concern at my first appointment as I said last pregnancy I had a different midwife every appointment so was always measured differently and sent for growth scans which worried me, was told not to worry and they’d do their best to make-sure I saw the same midwife every appointment or similar, this happened for 3 appointments since I’ve been seen by a different one every time and sent for growth scans which some have been declined by the ultra sound department and I’ve not been told just left out of the loop completely. I’ve had texts ignored and even been sent the wrong information because they thought I was someone else. I was also booked in for my ‘38 week appointment’ for tomorrow which I will actually be 39 weeks at and was told I could have a sweep, only now to be told it’s been cancled and I’ll have to wait till Monday. Just feel like I’ve been ignored and over seen this whole process. Anyone else had an experience like this?

Yep I've seen 4 midwives so far out of 6 appointments. Supposed to have my 38 week one on Monday which has been cancelled and re-booked for Friday with a different midwife at a different centre further away 🙄 Was the same my last pregnancy, think I saw 5 different midwives at 3 different centres.

I don't think I've ever seen the same midwife

I’ve seen the same one each time and I don’t feel it’s made any difference I think because she’s so busy. I think the way the appointments are set up now they just have to rush through checks and a set of certain questions. Great to have them there and be monitored but feel like anything additional like support or labour advice they don’t have time

This is my second and I felt same last time even with a different midwife, it can be all quite impersonal

I have only seen the same midwife on two occasions otherwise they’re all different and I’m 38 weeks now, my badger app is not useful at all because it isn’t linked to my hospital so niether one has access to the others information. I don’t even have the telephone numbers on the badger app for my midwives even if I wanted to contact them or any way to send a message or anything 😂

From reading your comments I feel so lucky that I have seen the same midwife throughout my pregnancy, only one 1 occasion did I see someone else and she said that measurement can vary between midwife. My normal midwife was worried about growth but then the replacement said she wasn’t. I am annoyed of the lack of returning calls when you leave a voice message for help! I was suppose to see an anaesthetist about pain relief in labour due to my chronic condition and the referral didn’t go in! Tried to call my midwife did not return my call that was 3 weeks ago
