Hey mama’s

I had family visit, my sister also came along (ı don’t speak to her because of the thing she did to me) anyway she told me today that making my toddler watch cartoons will cause autism, she said this months ago and I gör so much anxiety over it I went to the doctors with baby. I am so fed up of her keep mentioning this. 18 months now she only knows 2 words and I’m getting mentally frustrated to figure if she is having developmental delay. I don’t even make her watch all day. Just when she won’t eat or for a little entertainment as she does get bored with toys all day and books. Also there is no evidence out there suggesting it causes autism and another is people are born with it. I’m so fed up of her. She came and kept telling me what to do as if she had Bern of any help since she was born. She didn’t even let mum stay come over because she can’t get her fat ass up to look after her 8 yr old. I’m so fed of everyone

Ignore her! Absolute waffle! Our LG has always watched tv and cartoons and she’s miles ahead with development so it’s nothing to do with tv. Every child grows at their own pace and reaches milestones at different ages. If you’re worries about speech speak to the dr but it’s not uncommon for kids to get only have a few words at that age, we watched a lot of miss Rachel on YouTube and used the techniques in every day and it really helped develop speech. She uses speech therapist techniques and pre school style learning that the kids absolutely love! Whatever your sister says just ignore her! The fact that you care this much makes you a great mum! You’re doing amazing without her input, keep doing your best and don’t listen to her x

@Kirsty aw Kirsty thank you for the advice. Made me feel better. We use to watch Ms Rachel buy she cries when she sees her so I’ve stoped that. Instead we’re watching the Larry bird and story like cartoons :)
