My little girl was having 90ml every 3 hours when she was 4 weeks old. We tried to give her more and she would just sick it up and be so uncomfortable. When I mentioned this to health visitor, they advised to keep doing this at 90mls but to every 2 hours instead. My girl is 7 weeks tomorrow and only managing 120/130mls now. If you’re worried or want reassurance then definitely ask health visitor as this is what they advised us to do x
My girl is having the same 90ml of expressed milk roughly every three hours. She weighs about 8lb 5 if that's any help
If they are feeding 3 hourly (so 8 times a day) that’s almost exactly the same over 24 hours as 150mls 5 times a day. My baby is combi fed but if I express + give formula it works out at 90mls per feed and 8 feeds per day too (4 weeks + 3 days)
