Less red meat and processed foods

I went vegetarian for a year and my cholesterol dropped significantly. I also switched my milk to almond milk and started using vegan butter, which to me honestly tasted the same. Going vegetarian I ended up eating more greens instead of the steak and breads and pasta I normally gravitate too. It also helped me lose weight.
@Amber I agree. Vegan butter definitely tastes the same because we’re usually eating some type of oil spread or processed butter. Butter, cream cheese, yogurt, sour cream all have some really good vegan alternatives
