Have you ever had an unpleasant experience with a stranger trying to interact with your child?

I’ve only ever had someone try to play with his hair. Might be completely harmless but if I don’t know you, then it’s weird.

I had an old lady try to kiss my baby on before while in the shopping cart..looked as if she was headed for the lips, but I stopped her from making any contact with my child

Wasn't with my child, per say, but my son was having a tantrum (the only one he's ever had in public) and i was trying to check out and leave, so I'm already flustered because everyone is staring at me. And the cashier is trying to tell me how to deal with tantrums and she told me to throw myself on the floor and mimick his cries (he was in a stroller not the floor) and that it I did that, he'd never tantrum again. I was like...wtf?

Omg yeah that’s weird touching someone’s baby as a stranger. I find a lot of older women love touching my baby. It winds me up so much. They’ll literally stop us on a walk and caress his cheek and I’m just like 😡 I had one particularly woman that literally wouldn’t let us leave then she burst into tears that she never had grandchildren which is very sad but it was so uncomfortable

my neighbor like held out his arms and said “you want to say hi” to my baby i was like that’s a no from me sir. also some old lady tried to touch his face at the store like get your hands off my child who do you think you are. i know she meant well but who touches someone else’s child?!?!?

An old man held my baby’s hand today and kissed her hand. She’s 10months and the city I live in is in code red for the flu (a variant of the regular virus but on steroids). My baby also sucks her thumb so I knew she’d put her hands right in her mouth. The man was older and he prayed for her. So I didn’t say anything. Maybe he’s lonely? Maybe he does not have any babies in his life?. So I smiled quickly and walked into the nearest pharmacy to put hydroalcojolic gel on her hands.

I’ve been using a cover for my car seat/stroller and I really like the privacy it gives. It’s a great wind breaker too.
