Growling, and throwing head back

My baby has just turned 7m (adjusted) and tends to do this low growl. She does it a lot, and it’s being going on for at least a couple of months. She does it whenshe is frustrated, like trying to reach something, and when she is hungry or tired. She also does it at other times, when she doesn’t seem annoyed, apart from the growling noise. It’s really getting me down as she seems so …. not happy. She also throws her head and body backwards. She likes to be upside down, but also seems to do it in frustration / anger. Sometimes it’s so forceful it’s hard to manage. I’ve not seen other babies behave like this and I’m starting to worry something is wrong. She acts like this, at least 5-10mins in every hour, so not isolated incidents.

Can’t help with the growling although my nearly 7 month old grunts so much when he is tired/hungry/fustrated! & he is also going through a phase of want to lean back and be upside down!… I have been told it is just a phase and most the time when he does it if he is in my arms or on my knee I will just place him down on the floor for him to roll around and play- seems to do the trick! Hope this helps 🤍

Teething?

Thank you @MollieI’ll try giving her floor time. She is quite big, so - might sound weird - but the physicality of her throwing herself around feels a bit much….. hopefully it won’t go on too much longer, and she will no doubt find another fun game.

Yeah. She is teething. Got two teeth and I think one coming of the upper set. Maybe it’s that, and pain is worse than I think, as she seems otherwise ok.
