Perfectly normal At this stage!!!
Our LO is the same! Babies explore the world with their mouths so totally normal ☺️ RE. buying toys that entertain, have a read of ‘passive’ vs ‘active’ play - it’s really interesting!
Absolutely normal, that's how they explore the world! We've got at least another year or two of that (it tends to get stronger about now around weaning as they learn about flavours etc but will decrease over time) 😊 totally agree with Ollie about the types of toys - so interesting about their development and how we can promote that!
I bought my baby a baby Einstein piano thing with flashing lights buttons and he literally ignores it as it's smooth plastic and mouthing it is boring 🤣🤣 I've been looking up sensory play for ideas and play at home mummy on Instagram as some great ideas xx
Haha okay so this is perfectly normal! because even when I give him something big that he can’t put in his mouth he literally will bend over to lower his whole body so his mouth can reach it 🤣 thank you I will defo look up active and passive play
My baby does this all the time! She puts other people's hands in her mouth too 🤣 I think it's because they're more sensitive to textures with their mouth so they automatically use it to explore
