Anyone else's little one not saying mama
LO babbles dada but it's not clear she's directly relating that word to her dad it gets babbled all the time.
She is making animal noises like roaring for a lion, mooing for a cow etc. However she's not saying mama. She will point and make noise at anything that takes her interest like a toy or if we're out and she passes a dog etc. So I guess that counts for some communication, maybe?
Is this normal at this stage?

Same here, she can say mama and dada but can’t seem to connect them to us. My little one still doesn’t make any animal sounds though haha but I don’t know if it’s because I’m also trying to teach her Spanish 🥲
My son doesn’t say mama, dada or makes animal noises. He only says “yeah” and babbles 😀
