Consultant issues
Has anyone been under a consultant for previous blood clots? My consultant won’t take me seriously and thinks I’m lying about having a blood clot on the lung last year at the age of 25 (I know it’s probably not common) she can’t get my hospital records due to me moving county recently. I just don’t know what to do 😭 I’m so worried I’ll end up with another clot as my midwife says I’m high risk, I was taking aspirin Jsut to be safe and my midwife told me to up it to 150mg. Now the consultant is saying no that’s wrong and that I’m harming my baby 😭 I’m at my wits end 😭

I would definitely ask for someone else if they can't take you seriously! As if you would make anything like that up, stand your ground and say look this is what I need to do. The midwife is correct. I am different but needed to up my medication different thing but I haven't even seen a consultant yet and had to request my own medication to which at first they didn't want to do but within a day they must of looked at the passed and had a prescription sent so they had to see sense. So keep on and make sure you are getting heard x

Yes I am, have been on fragmin since the start. I would complain and change to a different consultant maybe? Do you have any records of your clot at all?
