What am I doing wrong

I’m feeding my son fresh cows milk from his Tommy Tippee bottle - it took him 17mins to have 7oz as opposed to his usual 6/7minutes on formula … What am I doing wrong

I don’t think you’re doing anything wrong, perhaps the fresh milk it’s a bit more filling than the formula and babe might need more breaks. My LO takes forever to drink his milk in the evening since we swapped. Xx

I don’t think you’re doing anything wrong, my 14 month old took some time adjusting to cows milk too since she was both formula and breast fed but after a few tries and a lot of patience she drinks it no issues!

Hold on, fresh as in unpasteurized? I'd be very nervous about how he would handle the potential bacteria, personally. But the transition definitely takes time for every baby.

Cows milk is more filling than formula so will probably drink less or need more time to work out if they are full. I wouldn't worry

How old is baby?

Baby’s 15months old - we’ve been weaning off of formula and has had cows milk previously - but it just never took this long so was confused

Maybe try a different bottle /not a bottle maybe a beaker or cup

How would I transition into a cup

He’s always been a fussy eater and only has 5 teeth so doesn’t eat a lot or want to do anything alone

At this age they don't need that amount of milk. If they are having that it could be why they don't eat much.

He has milk twice a day and then twice in his sleep

Definitely sounds like too many calories coming from milk.

I’d move to a straw weighted cup for a 15 month old.
