Carobel

Does anyone know where sells carobel at the best prices? And does anyone know how to best mix it in without leaving clumps and without shaking the bottle hard?

You can get it from gp but they don't prescribe much I always get mine from eBay (direct pharmacy shop ) as it works out cheaper and free delivery! Best to put in it in before the formula and and make sure the water is really warm / hot and shake well and then leave it to settle and cool for at least 5 mins then swill the bottle before feeding x

@Chloe how many scoops to go put in hun? I tried your way this morning and it didn't thicken as it normally does, usually we only need 2 scoops (he needs it thick) when we put it in at the end once cooled, but this morning I was on 4 scoops and it still wasn't right and he still choked. I bet it all depends what milk you use too. What formula do you use. Also does it cause your baby any wind or tummy ache? Xx

@Beth I use 3 scoops for 7 ozs, it does take a while to thicken if you can leave it for like 10 mins or so it will thicken up but it's hard when baby is hungry 🥲 baby is on Pepti 1 and mam size 2 teats. He was really uncomfortable when we first started it had bad wind but it settled after a week or so x

@Chloe Ok thank you! Think he's got wind since we have introduced it, and yesterday he was going really red and crying for a few minutes then would stop. He did that all afternoon so we're wondering if it is that xx
