No village

I’m really struggling at the moment, I don’t have parents in my life (passed away) I left my daughter’s abusive father, so him & his family are not involved (thank god). My little girl is 3. All of a sudden it hits me that she has no grandparents. No dad. I don’t have much support. I love her with my whole heart and it hurts me to ever think I’m not enough. What if she feels left out up to her friends with big caring families? 😭 I’ve been crying for an hour tonight, she has a sponsor form from nursery to raise funds. I have no one to help, what if all of her friends have a full list of family that sponsored? I’m just a mess 😭 I never want her to feel the way I have done growing up.

So sorry you feel like this. This will be similar I imagine for my LO at this age of your LO. We have little in way of extended family and it’s just me and her as a ‘family’. Can totally relate. Trust me, the love you can give her is all she needs ❤️ she won’t remember this at the age of three I imagine. She’ll just remember your love for her in her life. Don’t let this situation with nursery / sponsee form get you down. She really won’t remember.
