Vitamins

After some advice please. Are you giving your 16/17 month old vitamins? I haven’t been! As a first time mum I haven’t thought about it until now to be honest. He’s getting ill a lot and I suddenly panicked and thought I should probably give him vitamins. If you are; what do you give and what would you recommend? Thank you x

Nature and nurture drops into his water every morning x

The best ones I found are the mighty kids multivitamin. It says on the pack for 2 yrs + but their website says they’ve updated it to 1 yrs +. I give this once a day as well as optibac probiotics x

I used to give every day but found it makes her poop a lot more than usual so stopped for bit to change brand x

We’ve got a multivitamin in an orange liquid which he doesn’t mind but I haven’t worried too much about giving it to him regularly yet because he’s still breastfeeding

Sambucol is good. They can have it from 1. 5ml everyday. Help the immune system. Definitely helps coughs and colds away.

I just give vitamins from surestart centre. They are free and the rest he gets from food. HV should have told you about vitamins!
