Goodwill and call them riding shoes that he only wears when going on the scooter!
I would just recommend getting cheap play shoes but yea that’s frustrating so I get it and Off topic, but how did you get him to actually use his scooter? My 4 year old is nervous to ride on his outside but inside is cool 😅 I begin letting him try it out indoors but now he refuses to put his helmet on and take it out.
I get his shoes from Kmart for $8-10 lol. My boys been riding his scooter and bike from 18m so I know how you feel lol. He has “play shoes” one pair of “school shoes” and then his “good shoes” for weekends and parties that he only wears w his nice clothes, which are his timberlands or kids Vans/Converse sneakers. Majority of times he wears his cheap play shoes
Here we have to size up every 4-5 months max so I would just deem them as lost. This is just a stage and at this point he can learn to use the scooter break.
@MamaBear when he was little he didn't want to go on the buggy so I had to find something to push him on. He has since gotten used to his scooter. We use it for Nursery drop off and general outing.
Unfortunately, thats having a boy 😅 My kids have wide feet so i always have to pay for the more expensive shoes. They last between 3-6 months, fully depending on weather, if they have grown, if they have worn the sole down, if they have scuffed the top. Sometimes i feel i am buying them new shoes every other month. And let's not discuss school shoes 🥴 they are more expensive than normal and they only last a term!
You could get a few pairs of second hand shoes to use on the scooter? I did this for my LO and it seemed to work!
