Just a question and a thought about Vitamin D!

Eczema mamas, do you guys give your babies Vitamin D? All the research I have done in regards to eczema, I always stumble across one of the main things that help eczema is vitamin D? And this just makes me think why the midwives always pushed me to give baby vitamin D and that it’s really important that I do. Do you think it’s because it could play a role in skin and gut health? I gave my baby who is now 1, only one dose of vitamin D when she was a newborn but stopped due to bad gas and never gave it afterwards. My question is, do you think Vitamin D helps? Sometimes I think maybe if I gave Vitamin D my baby wouldn’t have eczema. Do you think it could eliminate the problem as I have also seen a doctor who said this exact same thing, that babies need Vitamin D and without it could make eczema bad. And I’ve done research for months and months and always end up seeing Vitamin D.

My first baby had vit d daily and still ended up with eczema. My second I was more "relaxed" and he's in the same position so I don't think so. Saying that, I do think my second baby's eczema is worse than my previous baby but there is nothing to say that is due to the vit d...
