I had medium/well the other week in a restaurant.. but recommendation is well done.
I had medium and honestly wish I hadn’t. It’s not the same and I usually have rare. Kind of ruined it for me having it so well done 😂
To be honest I’ve still been having mine medium rare. I know the guidance is well done but the main risk from beef steak is on the outside. Only a very small risk from tapeworm cysts on the inside which are very unlikely.
I was told by a midwife that it is fine to eat rare steak. The risk is bacteria, which would only be on a piece of bad meat, so how cooked it is is irrelevant really. If it's bad, it's bad and doesn't matter how well cooked it is. X
I always have my rare so when pregnant I simply won’t touch steak it’s just not worth the worry, x
Medium rare is my usual so I’ve avoided eating steak pregnant sadly as anything more will just ruin it! I wasn’t comfortable eating it less done I always think it’s better to be safe than sorry x
Yer I have had my steak medium instead of my normal very rare, as long as you trust the meat /restaurant 💁🏻♀️
No. Meat fully cooked always
