LO doesn’t eat much day to day

Anyone else’s little ones just not eat much most days? Some days she will eat loads but I’m talking 1/7 days and the rest she will pick at all her meals. She’s generally good breakfast, lunch is hit or miss and dinner is just poor. I’m not concerned about what I’m offering her as she gets a great selection but she just doesn’t seem to need much?

Unless we're in a growth spurt he hardly seems to eat! I found my lo was more of a grazer than sit down and eat. So breakfast he was great as I usually give it to him while I'm getting myself and his little brother ready so it's on the table and he can go back and forth, same with lunch. We sit at the table for dinner and it was a fight to get him to eat so we now start at the table and he has to stay there until I'm finished eating, but I then take a few things of his plate and just leave them on the side for him to pick at as we're playing before bath and bed (I had to make dinner a bit earlier to do it) he know eats the majority of it

My LG is the same. She's generally just a grazer. She's never been one for big meals. Its worse now she's more fussy and has gone off some foods x

My LB eats his breakfast (2 wheatabix & yogurt) most days, snack is usually biscotti bicci from lidl, toast or a banana, then he doesn't eat much and grazes until tea time! He won't eat sandwiches/eggs anymore so making him food for lunch is a struggle. I just put a graze plate out until about 4 then he gets tea at 5-530 and he sometimes eats a decent amount, sometimes hardily eats anything!

@Emily dinner time is a fight for us too. If she just looks at the plate and decides she doesn’t like it, she just won’t eat it. I tried putting things in a little plate but often she starts getting irate and puts the plate in the sink 🙈

@Charlotte mines either. I told the health visitor she would happily graze all day but worried it’s nothing substantial. She didn’t seem to be concerned. I told her she will usually eat chicken dippers etc but I’m loathed to give her that most nights and the health visitor just said to give her it 🤷‍♀️ we have a home cooked meal every single night & she often won’t even try it! Frustrating isn’t it.

My health visitor told me that because she's not loosing weight their not concerned. I had reminded her we are still giving her 3 bottles of milk a day due to slow weaning with allergies. If I stop the milk then she would drop the weight. I was also told not to give her what she wanted at an evening meal but to make her eat what were eating. She said if my LG didn't eat it then don't give her anything else as she will soon learn to eat x
