Toddler running off

Looking for a bit of reassurance or advice. My LG will be 3 at the end of July and when we are out, she will stay in the pram for a bit until she wants to be out then she will ‘walk nicely ‘ as she puts it by holding my hand. Until she’s had enough of that and she starts running off. It makes me so anxious that she could in a split second run into the round and I won’t be able to grab her. Any tips or advice would be appreciated or will she soon learn ?

Mine went through a phase of this - we used to put him straight back in the pram kicking and screaming and crying. If you can’t walk nicely and either hold the pram or an adults hand then you are going back in the pram. Cruel to be kind!! It soon clicked after a few outings but you have to stick with the meltdown no matter how difficult and embarrassing 😂😂😂

We did the same as above. You have to follow through no matter what! She walks quite good now and If she doesn’t she gets one warning then it’s in the pushchair.

Straight back in the pram if mine doesn't listen, which is often! He's better with his dad
