Bottles and feeding. HELP

Hi. When I had my first born, 13 years ago, we were able to boil the kettle, fill up bottles to what we need, cool down and use them through out the day. I have been told you only have 2 hours to use this water now. I have been told you can still do this And I’ve been told you cannot use Agee that’s been sitting out and it needs to be cooled down straight away. Please , please could someone shed light on this as I’m confused and fed up trying all of these different ways and worried I’m doing it wrong (my boy is 2 weeks old ) Thank you xxx

You can pre-make them, they just need to be kept in the fridge; they can be at room temp for up to 2 hours or 24 hours in the fridge.

That's true. Once the bottle is made you have up to 2 hours to use it. It's also recommended to make a fresh bottle for each feed which can be tricky when baby is a newborn and doesn't have a routine yet. I know Nuby Rapid cool saves many parents. Hope this helps.

Okay that makes sense because he may be having a tummy ache when we leave the water…. I don’t really know what’s right or wrong anymore!!!

You are the best mum and you know what's best for your child. Some guidelines have changed since the last time you had a baby but you are the best person for your baby boy.
