Just a phase?

My little girl is currently refusing to eat anything that isn't fruit or veg or yogurt. I'm worried about her not getting enough protein. I know veg have lots of protein in them and iron too (I'm a vegetarian but I'm raising my little girl on meat). I can't get her to eat beans or lentils either. Is this just a phase and will she eat other things again?

Yogurt has a lot of protein! Also a couple of times I mixed quinoa into her yogurt and she ate it 😊

Its a phase dont worry:) also yoghurt has lots of protein

It's a phase. How old is she? Growth really slows down for toddlers so they can get by with surprisingly little food.

@Tess she's 11 months and learning how to walk and stand up independently. Usually she eats more when she's learning a new skill but this time she's eating less

Try cottage cheese has a lot or protein in it. You can blend it if she doesn’t like the texture. I remember I didn’t really like meat when I was a kid

@Nathalie thank you for the recommendation unfortunately I can't be near cottage cheese without being physically sick, I'm the same with bananas. I became a veggie when I started hating meat. As I got old it become an ethical thing so I get it. But she went from devouring meat to refusing to eat it

Just a phase. Just keep offering it so she sees it. Offer it in different forms too either cooked or shape different. My kid got sad cause I cut the bell peppers too thin. 😅

Aw i wouldn’t worry at all, shes only 11 months. If its any consolation my daughter didn’t eat ANYTHING until after 1 and even then it was barely anything. Any food that touched her tongue she would vomit all the milk in her tummy. She just lived off breastmilk. Shes 3 now and eats a great variety of foods and is still breastfeeding so it doesn’t seem to have made a difference.
