Toddler tantrums

Yep exact same here! Just all of sudden started, everything is no and he will just scream in my face and try and hit me. Finding it really overwhelming currently but trying my hardest to just stay calm and help him regulate his emotions

My daughter is the exact same at the moment. It’s really overwhelming and exhausting. It’s very difficult to react in a way that helps her with her emotions and to model gentle parenting but hopefully in time we’ll ride this out and see improvements. You are not alone and hope it improves soon for you.

I came here for this! Wanted to see if my boys' tantrums were a developmental thing and others were going through the same struggle, for some solidarity as it can be so overwhelming. My 5 year old makes him worse or joins in too 🤦‍♀️

My boy is my first and we don't have any other little ones in the family or friends with kids the same age, so it's easy to worry sometimes whether his behaviour is typical for his age or something to be concerned about. But it's so reassuring to know you're all going through it too! Hopefully we'll make it out the other end soon haha. We've got this 💪❤️

Same here...I said to my husband the other day that I feel like we are walking on eggshells around him waiting for the next thing to set him off! Poor little things 😢
