On some trips I’ve been on he’s had a snack like baby puff crisps or yoghurt wafers, some fruit, and I make a sandwich by toasting bread and then just putting cream cheese on it (can add whatever your baby likes) and I take the sandwich apart so it’s just in slices when he’s actually eating it or it’s too thick for him. xx You could still do avocado on toast, or even make some baby friendly egg mayo? just keep in a cooler bag with an ice pack if you’re worried about it sitting there! I just put a bib on him that has the catcher part at the bottom and he sits upright in his pram as his pram can go all the way upright to sitting x
Egg omelettes are good as they can be eaten cold after cooking and add in veggies or meats to bulk it up. We also do pasta and cream cheese which can also be eaten cold
I have a little insulated lunch bag and ice packs so can take eggs with me if necessary, or other leftovers
I’ve made batches of potato and veg tots, tuna broccoli and cream cheese puff pastry pinwheels and ham and cheese egg muffins which are all frozen and I grab one or two of those when we go out places for lunches. With something like cucumber batons to help with her teething too. Have tried a couple of those meal pouches but my baby barely eats any and they only last 24 hours once opened so waste of money for us; your baby might like them though. Also we grab some of the melty puffs or melty sticks to take a packet of something with us as our baby loves those too
