I took my sharps box to my local pharmacy and they disposed of it for me :)

It's a pain to get rid of. I still have my sharps boxes from my first pregnancy and now the ones from this time coz I gave up trying to get rid of them

I’ve heard the pharmacy should be able to take them, I ended up taking mine to my midwife at my last appointment postpartum.
The only place I managed to return them to was the birth centre everywhere else (GP, Pharmacy & hospital) refused them x
Hand it in to your local pharmacy I did x
I phoned the council and they sent someone to collect mine

When I lived in Neath I phoned the GP and they organised someone to collect mine x

Gave mine back to midwife once they were all done 😊
I have mine to the health visitor. Probably chemists as well, as other said before.
I still have mine from May last year 🤣 I'm also in Wales and was told to arrange it through my local council, but they never showed up to actually collect. I'm going to try the chemist now that you've reminded me about it 😂 x
I had to arrange a council collection x

My health visitor took mine for me x
Our council do a scheme where you register online and someone comes out to collect it. You leave it outside (left ours behind our side gate) then they come to collect it. Our GP didn't accept them. We are in Lincolnshire so I'm sure it differs from place to place. When in doubt ring your GP and ask
The midwives took mine but I wasn't discharged from them till day 14. They did say a local pharmacy should take it
Hospital, doctors or your maternity appointments is what I was told ☺️
