Consultant led care

I was with my first pregnancy because of a history of fibroids and an ectopic. It meant a few additional appts and I was told I wasn't to give birth in the suite.. I was gutted but being on the ward turned out to be the best option because I ended up having an emergency c section.

I was with my first, and I was really happy about it as got extra monitoring. I suppose it depends on the reasoning for CLC xxx

I was placed on one last year for my pregnancy because I had gestational diabetes. I didn't actually see a consultant though. I had extra scans which was fab. Because of my birth, I've been placed under consultant led this time but they'll be closely monitoring me throughout the pregnancy & I'll be seeing the consultant regularly!

I was with my first and will be with this one too. I’m pleased to have the extra checks and reassurance.

I’m consultant led because I had a C-section 9 months ago 🤦🏽‍♀️. The midwife said the only difference is I will see the consultant at my scans. She actually asked how I would like to deliver baby which surprised me as I thought it would automatically have to be a C-section

Same for me but it’s because of higher bmi
