Same guys! I was like this, my first opened his mouth for the first spoon and never refused anything!!! Ijust keep offering at mealtimes (finger food) coz I don't wanna keep making or buying and wasting puree x
Same, he gags when I put the spoon near his mouth 😭
Mine started like this but I noticed when I gave him the spoon to hold he was fine. Now we do two spoons, one for him to hold and feed himself and one for me to top up his spoon with puree 😂
My little boy is the same and he'll be 8 months on the 22nd. I've just kept trying and offering food 2-3 times a day with water and he is getting better and starting to enjoy his food. Up until he turned 7 months he wasn't interested at all.
Mine is 7 months in 2 weeks, we started solids a few days before 6 months under guidance of HV. He has had no interest at all, got so upset every time there was food offered, pursed his lips shut and acted like I was tying to poison him, or putting some in his mouth and just instantly expelling it and screaming. Then out of nowhere, yesterday he didn't spit it all out, and today he was opening his mouth towards the food wanting more. Think it just depends on them and they'll be interested when they're ready.
my boy is turning 7mo. on the 17th. No interest in food whatsoever. Ive introduced pureed carrots, mashed potato, mashed broc, rice porridge, egg..nada..! water, a little bit. I dont know what to do
Thanks girls! Think I’m just going to keep trying and when he’s ready he’ll get there?? Let’s be honest there’s no adults out here who still drinks milk with no food 🤣
I am the same! My 1st ate anything and everything but this one just isn’t interested. The only thing he’ll eat is broccoli
