Eating less food

My son is about to turn 1 he has what I think is a cold, he’s got a runny nose and a dry cough. Today he’s decided he wants to eat less food but he still having his milk. If we try and show him food he throws a hissy fit screaming crying the works so we’re trying not to push the issue, Is this normal? He’s still playing laughing drinking etc
