If he said “im sorry i forgot” and went to clean it right away, i would have forgave him. But its the clueless act thats so irritating. Seems like he was hoping you’ll clean it if you saw it
How does one not clean it?! We bleach the tub if a child poops in it before we let anyone else get in it

My 8 yr old was sick all over himself, the floor, the landing and the bathroom a few months ago- we were both there; my husband just said “no chance - I’ll be sick myself!” And went to bed!!!!! He was asleep by the time I got to bed an hour later after cleaning it all up!! I was absolutely fuming!
My first thought was to give him grace, but I get your frustration. How much poop are we talking? Was it in a spot that was easy to miss? Or maybe he got really distracted with the kid and forgot to come back to it? Regardless of the reasons I would be annoyed too. After cooling off maybe try talking it out with him and explaining how much it bothered you. No promises that he’ll totally get it but may be worth a shot.

@SquishyMommy1 yeah there’s clean and still dirty. He left a huge shit stain in the tub. That’s not clean. That’s not cleaning differently, that’s just lazy intentional incompetence.
@Meghan as a professional cleaner who works with other cleaners. I would disagree with you because I see it all the time for a lot of various reasons. Very few of them are intentional.
@SquishyMommy1 as someone who’s also cleaned professionally and also knows you don’t need qualifications to know that brown shit on a white tub is close to impossible to miss, your spewing some of what was left in the tub. “Everyone cleans differently” absolutely a terrible excuse anyone could give for not properly cleaning up poop.

That’s wild lol but with my paranoia about poop being in the bathtub I would have had to double check and clean it again anyways my way.
