Not eating much

Is anyone else worrying about how little their LO eats? My boy has been a brilliant eater since we weaned him he’s been eating 3 full meals a day plus snacks and he just eats what I eat (unless it’s too spicy or unhealthy) But recently; the last few weeks, he’s barely eating anything! I know people say it’s normal for their appetite to change a little bit but he’s genuinely surviving off biscuits and fruit. All the meals he used to eat he’s completely stopped. He screams and cries at dinner time and will sit for over an hour without touching anything. I’ve tried spoon feeding him but he doesn’t eat anything and just spits it out. It’s just stressing me out as we haven’t had this problem at all and he’s always been great at eating, I don’t want his weight to drop either! Any other mamas going through the same thing? Any advice on how to help him get back to eating?

My daughter been like this since she had a very mild case of hand foot and mouth 2 months ago, she was the same would eat anything infront of her now she's so picky and cries for dinner and food but then will happily not eat any of it

@Kate awh it’s so frustrating, my little one does the same thing he’ll cry and ask for food but then won’t touch any of it! Hopefully they grow out of this phase

Not much advice I’m sorry, but I’m in the same boat. I think it could be second molar time, really struggling to get much down him at all 😫

So I have just recently went through this. My son was such a good eater and all of sudden he started refusing everything. I was keeping an eye on his calories and I reckon he was eating 200/300 a day, absolutely not enough. I was at my wits end with worry and practically throwing food at him praying he would eat. This went on for weeks. His mood was terrible too I think from hunger. Anyway fast forward a few weeks and he’s back to eating loads. It just passed. 🙏🏻 xx

@Lauren this gives me hope, Thankyou! Xx
