Fussy eating phase??

Anyone else's toddler surviving on air?my little boy is 14 months old and I'm finding it so hard atm to get him to eat anything apart from potatoes, weetabix, yoguht, the occasional fruit item and snacks. Breakfast usually goes ok and then it's just downhill from there. Some days he eats better than others but most days it's the same old thing!! I'm trying to keep offering different things but he just refuses everything, is this a normal stage? Feel like I'm wasting my time preparing lovely meals and he's just like nope. He used to eat a lot better at nursery than at home but nursery have now said he's being fussy there too :( he doesn't look underweight or anything but I'm just worried I'm not doing enough. Anyone else going through a fussy eating phase?

Yes!!!!!!! I’m putting it down to him having 6 teeth all dropping in at the same time! But honestly it’s hurting my soul 😂 he will eat breakfast and then well the rest of the day is very hit and miss. He has been living on fruit and breadsticks, occasionally he will eat the meal but he’s really not interested 🤦🏻‍♀️ we went to my aunties and he ate everything and then we got back home and he refused to eat! (I took his meals with me so it’s not like it was her cooking!) I just don’t know 🤷🏻‍♀️ I know it will pass but if it could hurry I’d love that haha

I know!!!! Oh I'm so glad I'm not the only one, Its just exhausting isn't it!! I thought it was his teeth at first cos he had both of his top double teeth trying to break through but they've broke the surface of the gums now so not sure :/ it's got to be a phase right? ...... I wish it would just hurry up and pass!!! Foods so great, I just wish he knew that 🤣

Mine existed on air and a bite of a snack here and there and yoghurt for most of January through March. Only in the last 2-3 weeks she seems to have recovered her appetite. Don’t get me wrong she still doesn’t eat a plate of food she will have a few mouthfuls and throw most on the floor but she at least tries it.

I took him GP for this issue as I was wondering how is he going to survive.. turned out I am just a first time paranoid momi, it's just a phase and the gp said as long as he eats at this current stage he's absolutely fine, you will know as a mom if you think something is actually wrong with him. She said he can have as much fruit as he wants and same for repeated meals as long as he eats 😭 so at the moment am just giving him what he likes and monitor that he actually eats and he's full, I do continue serving new food items on a daily, in case he changes his mind 🤣

Yes!!! We have no idea why. Apparently at nursery she's eating well and eating a variety but at home if it's not porridge, weetabix, tomato pasta, toast or banana....she won't have it
