Fussy eater

Anyone else’s toddlers going through a really fussy eating stage? My lb is 18 months old and he has become so fussy with his food. He pretty much refuses all dinners offered to him, i always try to incorporate something he’ll typically eat onto his plate & he always has what we have. We eat with him at the table and i’m trying my best to stay calm but he just squashes everything in his hands or launches it onto the floor. he only eats picky bits at lunch time, and the last couple of days is now refusing all fruit. how long is this phase supposed to last because i feel like im losing my mind ??? 🥹

No help but mine is the same atm! He used to eat everything but for a while now he usually refuses most meals and atm he’s living on cheese and toast 🙈

honestly! mine was brilliant when i first weaned him, would eat & be willing to try everything but now he’s surviving on breadsticks & crackers. anything beige & dry 😩😂

Omg I could have wrote this myself! It’s driving me nuts

Us too! Must be an age thing!

Same! Will not eat a single meal, doesn’t like sandwiches any more, only fruit he will eat is bananas. Just beige snacks and yoghurt! I’d say it’s been going on two months so far 😭

Me too. My daughter will eat anything at nursery but won’t eat at home at all unless it’s berries or bananas.

Same here My daughter used to be great eater not eating anything at home only at the nursery I’m also a bit worried about her weight she seems to have lost so taking her to weight her next week

Me too, it’s so frustrating. She only wants to eat chips or toast. Everything else is no. She’s not been the best eater anyone but omg the last few weeks have been awfully!!

how are you guys handling it 😩 i’ve stopped puddings completely but the last couple of days ive relented and given a bottle of milk instead because i hate the thought of him going hungry but its probably not the best habit to start 🥲
