For a one year olds birthday party I do baby foods like pouches and cut up fruit for the babies and then sandwiches tray and snacks for the adults or older kids. I had a brunch party and we had donut shaped pancakes, bacon, fruit, orange juice, donuts, sausage and waffles.
Honestly, I made pernil, arroz con gandules, pastelon, Mac n cheese, and empanadas. All the kids ate the hell out of the rice and the pastelon. Some kids chewed on the pernil. All the food was gone because the adults were grubbin hard. We also served spinach dip and chips, a bowl of fresh fruit with lechera on the side, & waters.
@C Um hi the next time you throw a party can I come? 😂
@Lexi 🤣🤣 i promise it's not an every bday celebration. It was the 1st birthday! For her 2nd bday I just made beef and bean chilli and white rice but I did provide chips, shredded cheese, sour cream, & pico de gallo incase people wanted to make a chilli dip over their chips 🤣
hahaha yes NJ! @GMF
thats so cute and fun!! @Dana 🦅♥️🤍💙
omg delicious 🤤 @C
I would do food that your 1 year old can eat/likes
We had pulled pork and baked beans and roasted veg for my Lo 1 year birthday
We did pizza for his first birthday party and for his second I tried creamy chicken, fruit, veggies and chips ( oh how I wish I just ordered pizza🤣🤣)
Went to a 1st bday party the other day, they had a little buffet style thing with pasta, sandwiches, crisps and fruit. All the kids seemed to love it!!
Is this for the kids or adults I can't tell! I think in England as Melissa says its picky snacks all the way - stuff babies eat easily, the more veg batons the better... It's blowing my mind that you folks are making entire meals!! I mean good for you, but I could not haha
ooh cute & delicious!!! @Asia
You must be from PA/NJ lol. I think if lots of kids will be there pizza is easiest. But sandwiches are a good option too.
