Easter dinner
I’m hosting Easter dinner this year. I’m so excited I love hosting butttttt I can’t make a ham. And yes I need to make a ham. I can cook the fuck out of every other meat but ham which is hysterical cause it’s already pre cooked. I always over cook it cause I’m scared and it’s dry. Please leave your bone in ham recipes below. Marinades, techniques, oven temp etc.
Do you have a crock pot? Ham is my specialty for thanksgiving 😇 -1 liter of Dr Pepper or cheer wine -light and dark brown sugar -ham of choice. -maple brown sugar spice (usually in spice section) Ham in crock pot on low, cover ham with and fill with half of Dr Pepper or cheer wine and coat in both brown sugars and a thin layer of spice. Use a basting brush every 20-30 minutes or so to rewet it, add more Dr Pepper as well. Dont forget to get between the slices as it warms. I usually do this for about 3hrs and it’s good to go. If you’re in the US boars head also makes a yummy ham glaze that you can smear all over it in the beginning too.
