Any other things i should eliminate?

Im in the process of eliminating dairy since we suspect cmpa and on a hypoallergenic formula. I don’t produce enough milk so she has a bottle or two of formula a day. She’s 3 months. Should i avoid anything else? I haven’t ate eggs in days just in case she’s sensitive to that too. Also trying to limit spice. Dr doesn’t seem concerned because there isn’t any blood in stool and stomach doesn’t feel bloated or hard. I had to ask her for a hypoallergenic formula and she gave me samples. How long does it take to see a difference in her poop with me eliminating my diet? Her main symptom was mucous stringy stinky poop and fussiness. Should i avoid soy? And coconut stuff? I thought i read somewhere it can cause an allergy too? Also how long after having dairy would it affect her? TIA 🤍

My sons dietician says babies with CMPA are 9/10 also sensitive to soy, my boy can’t have egg loose (fried, scrambled etc) but can have it in thinks like cakes

@Kayleigh Really? Wow now i wonder if that’s what has been making her poops stinky since she was born. Because i always have eggs in the mornings😭 it wasn’t til recently that she got fussy seems like shes in pain and have mucous in her poop. Oh no i feel like everything has soy😩

Oddly my boy can’t tolerate soy milk but can tolerate it in foods

My son is now 3month old and when he was 2 weeks old I decided to avoid nuts, egg, diary and soy. I'm also combo feeding with nutramigen.

@Shantal why did you eliminate those things? And did he improve?

@Michelle. I wasn't sure what was triggering him and I just chose a few common allergens other than diary. I'm going to start reintroducing nuts and eggs to see if they affect him then go from there

I would start avoiding dairy, soy and egg. It takes up to 6 six weeks to see improvements.

A weird one is corn 😅 but my son is allergic on top of cmpa

@Alyssa what!? Omg 😩 it’s all so overwhelming lol

@Michelle it really is! But i did the elimination diet and got it figured out after a while! And getting an official allergy test this week. I know it seems like A LOT right now, because it is. But you’ve got this, you’ll figure it out and everything will be okay!!
