My baby loves yoghurt and generally has some for dessert with every meal so I try to make it more balanced by soaking chia seeds in 10% fat Greek yoghurt (high protein) adding some carbs - I use oats and weetabix but you could just do oats and add ground mixed nuts. This mixture goes really thick when it’s soaked over night so for each dessert over the course of the day I’ll take a spoonful of this mixture and then loosen it with either some mashed fruit, milk, a puree pouch, flavoured yoghurt. I feel better knowing she’s getting protein/fibre/carbs etc within the yoghurt
Also my maybe loves a pastry, I make pinwheel, straws and sausage rolls and hide veg in them and cheese
My boy loves shreddies. We do toast with peanut butter or jam (I get the Hartleys one which is mainly fruit)
My boy had toast and strawberries today. I also have some cheese and carrot muffins and some banana muffins in the freezer (both homemade and super easy - asked chatgpt for ideas and it gave me the recipes too)
