Rudeness!

I think people express opinions on here that they wouldn’t in real life. This is the trend anywhere on the internet.

I agree, some people are taking out their own anger on others online. I’ve shut this app a couple times when I realized I was being too harsh because I’m in a bad mood.

It's rather disheartening, as many of us are here to foster a sense of community and build friendships. The internet's power is a double-edged sword. People may express themselves differently online than they would in person. It's a regrettable trend online, as mentioned above.

I was also wondering whether it was cultural because I’m also on another mum app from a different country and I have never noticed such behaviour on there. It’s much more accepting and positive

@Sarah it is, and I see a lot of women say that they have to take breaks or delete the app because of how toxic it is which is such a shame. If somebody says something worrying or offensive then I completely agree with challenging them but we never know what someone could be going through. If we're not able to give other mums some encouragement and kindness then maybe we shouldn't be on this app
