this happens to be something i’m passionate about so here is my recommendation
@kaylee thank youuuuuuuuuu you are awesome e!!!!
@kaylee I’m currently taking vitamin c 1000 mg regularly but I want to start taking multi vitamins. I know they have some form of vitamin c as well. Do you think it’s too much to take them together?
i think the daily allowance is 2000mg so you should totally be fine. but also when i think im coming down with a cold i will pop vitamin c (along with oil or oregano) like it’s candy, im talking 2-3 500mg tablets 4 times a day, and i’ve never had any issues if that makes you feel any better
I didn’t use any at all
I’ve been taking pregnacare max for the past 6-7 weeks and i have noticed it’s been giving me more nausea, I didn’t notice this with my first that it could be the vitamins but I realised with my second when I forgot to take it I was completely fine and next to no symptoms but when I take it my symptoms are 10 times worse, I’ve been taking it in the morning so I’m going to try taking it at night see how it goes and if still feel sick going to try some different ones or stop all together as I’m nearly 10 weeks and you stop taking them at like 13 weeks anyways
i’ll be honest, i didn’t find a prenatal vitamin i liked that had the amounts of certain things i wanted so i ended up getting one of those weekly pill organizers and put my own vitamins in. @Jessica if you’re still not enjoying what you’re taking that’s what i recommend
I’ve heard taking the vitamins separately is better. Multivitamins aren’t as effective! In winter I take vit d, zinc, iron, sometimes selenium, and magnesium. Usually I just take stuff in the warmer months when I feel it’s needed like electrolytes, iron, magnesium etc I have lionsmane also but am yet to start taking those. I drink bullet coffees made with ghee every morning so this helps absorb the active ingredients and honestly the coffees are amazing, I feel so awake each day. I put ghee, bovine collagen, coconut oil, instant coffee into a pan of hot water, then hand blender, bit of milk and sweetener! 🤤 has helped more than any vitamins
saffron - yes the spice. it has the same effect as ssri medication and none of the side effects rosemary - yeah.. i don’t think there’s anything rosemary can’t do and i’m in love with her vitamin d3 - i think the brand doesn’t matter but it’s best to take it with things like avocado or full fat dairy because it’s fat soluble and will be absorbed better iron - ferrous sulfate specifically because it’s the easiest for your body to absorb, is best taken with vitamin c (brand doesn’t matter i don’t think) but take it on an empty stomach omega 3 fatty acids - look for one that is IFOS certified with a good concentration of EPA and DHA magnesium L threonate - best for cognitive function buts there’s lots of different types, i think everyone should be taking atleast one daily lionsmane - absolute bombshell of a supplement. it’s a mushroom that promotes brain cell growth among so many other things. it improves memory mood and cognitive function.
