you can try to stick it in their mouth when you’re actively BF. or do one bottle a day just make sure you pace feed to prevent them from getting a preference for the bottle due to being able to eat without having to put in effort. for supplementing yourself, i have no advice i usually forgot to even give them the drops.
Not EBF anymore but I still put it on his paci during whatever diaper change of the day I remember to do it (I keep the drops in his nightstand and that’s where we change him) and pop it in! Super painless. And for me? I still take my prenatals and they have vitamin D. Do you mean more than prenatals?
I just give my baby one bottle of pumped milk a day and put it in that, I’m dealing with quite an oversupply so I usually pump once a day anyways on top of feeds
Great, thank you all! I love the paci idea!
I got one over the counter but mine says I can put it directly into mouth? It told me to put it in bottle before feeding? Even if it says don’t put it directly into mouth could I still put it or no? The one that the doctor prescribed me with my first child I could put it into mouth but my second one I didn’t get it because it didn’t cover her insurance so I just bought it over the counter one.
you can put it right into their bottle
I drop it into her mouth during play time when she’s laying down and calm. Usually has her mouth slightly open
Sunshine ☀️
I squeeze my boob to get a small amount of milk then put a drop on my nipple.
I typically just put a drop on my nipple or on his paci before putting it in his mouth!
