Weaning issues

Our little one isn’t interested in puree/food either (6 month 1 week) we did try baby rice to get her use to texture but some days she’s not into that either 😅

Is she getting upset as well or just refusing?? My girl is actually upset like I’ve offended her by even daring to offer anything other than breast milk 😅

Some babies just aren’t ready straight away. Give it a break try again in a week or 2. You don’t want to create the association of food being a miserable experience. Have you tried with any finger food? It may be a control thing

@Ceri-Ann yeah I think I will because she definitely sees ‘feeding time’ as a negative experience even already ! I have and it just gets flung but not towards mouth! However every non-food goes in the mouth 🙃

My boy was also like that I tried making it myself he taķe it now He’s 6months 2weeks

My baby did the same, I found she hated sitting and eating, I bought her those dummies u put stuff in and say her up SLIGHTLY, then once she got used to the feeling of it, I started sitting her up and feeding her purees and she started to like it

@Molly she did get upset the first couple of times so we left it a couple days, we’ve started giving her a toy and she’s got a little spinner toy on her tray table which she seems happy with.
